Immanuel welcomes Pastor Anita Lang on July 4.
Greetings in the name of the Lord.
I am Pastor Anita Lang. I was born in Angol, Chile with the privilege of growing up in a Methodist Christian Family. I am married to my husband Robert Lang and we have three wonderful boys; Orly, Pablo and little Esteban.
Professionally I am a teacher and graduated from Arturo Prat University. I also worked as an “X Ray Technician” for over thirteen years in the hospital of Angol, Chile.
In Chile I worked in the Methodist Church in many different positions such as: Sunday School Superintendent, Program Secretary, Delegate and representative of my Local Church in the Conference, Preacher, worked with Missionary Groups, youth leader, etc.
I came to the United States on March 2006 and I have been working through the UMW as the Hispanic Language Coordinator. I have also been visiting and working with 11 Hispanic Methodist Churches (Green Bay, Madison, Monona, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Racine, Palmyra, Whitewater, and Kenosha) doing different activities such as: Spiritual retreats, workshops, food drives, giving sermons, and more.
For the mercy of God, I had the blessing to attend Garrett Seminary, in Naperville, Illinois. Now I am currently working in Immanuel UMC, Kenosha as a Local Pastor.
